About 

Hailing from Mexico City, Dr. Edmundo Gonzalez is invested both as an active concert pianist and a piano teacher. In recent years, he has had success performing concerti with the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, the Querétaro Symphony, and the Coyoacán Symphony. Dr. Gonzalez also won acclaim for performing a wide range of repertoire in his solo and chamber recitals in Mexico, USA, Canada, Italy, Austria, and Cuba. Dr. Gonzalez is an award winner of numerous competitions. Most notably, he was a prizewinner at the 2012 “Angélica Morales” National Piano Competition in Mexico. He also consecutively received the first prize at the Piano Competition of Mexico’s National Conservatory in 2005 and 2006. Since 2015, Dr. Gonzalez has been teaching in Vancouver, preparing students for recitals, university auditions, RCM exams, and music festivals.

Rates and Policies

    • 30 minute private lesson 

    • 45 minute private lesson 

    • 60 minute private lesson

    • Travel Charge​

  3. CANCELLATION POLICY

Lessons canceled within 24 hours without a valid reason will be charged. This does not apply to travel fees unless the notice is given at the door and the teachers have traveled to the location. ​

   4. ILLNESS / VACATION POLICY 

A maximum of three make-up lessons are permitted and can be rescheduled each school year (Sept - June) due to illness or emergency. Students need to notify the school and the teacher two weeks in advance if going on a vacation or extended absence to avoid extra charges. The vacation policy does not apply during summer breaks. 

   5. TRIAL PERIOD 

Students can try out two lessons to see if it is a great fit. We value teachers' valuable time and effort, so there will not be a free trial lesson, it will be charged. After the two trial lessons, all policies start getting effect and students will be billed in terms.
